Before I Got the Dog Care Training Collar
My boy, Blue, is a great dog. He’s loyal, he listens (for the most part), and is extremely friendly! Maybe a bit too friendly sometimes.. Like the time he just casually walked up to a porcupine to make friends with it and give it a few licks before he got whacked in the face by an unpleasant number of barbs. This has happened twice I might add. I doubt I have to say it but holding him down and pulling barbs out of his face in the backcountry is not the most enjoyable or stress free task.
Or the time I was sitting on a log having a snack on the side of the trail when Blue caught a whiff of something in the thick treeline behind us and sent a very healthy bull moose charging directly in my path.
To be fair, he’s a dog. They’re curious. They like to roam. It’s what they do. BUT, it’s our job as their owner’s to take charge and teach them the skills they need to know in order to have good trail etiquette, not chase the wildlife, not charge other dogs on a leash, or whatever the issue may be.

Dog Care Training Collar Description
The Dog Care Training Collar was recommended to me by a friend. I can’t express this fact enough, it seriously was a game changer. It has three different features: Beep, Vibrate, and Shock. The shock feature has an easily adjustable static range (1-99). I have tested this on my own neck just to make sure I wasn’t over doing it. If I’m going to intentionally shock my best friend, then I want to know what it feels like. It’s not pleasant of course, but tolerable. I think I’ve only used this feature around 50% about 5-6 times and now the beep and vibrate features are all I need to use now just to get his attention if he gets distracted, and he’s back by my side in seconds. After I Got the Dog Care Training Collar
When I originally got this product, I imagined I’d only use it when we were training or working on commands. But after seeing how effective this collar is, it has become something I use daily on just about every walk or hike we go on. Not that I really need to use it that much any more, but it has completely eliminated loud voice commands or yelling at him 100 yards away. I simply give him a beep or vibrate, depending on how serious I am (he’s caught on pretty quick what comes next) and he stops in his tracks and runs right back to my side. I feel like a sales rep for the company (I’m not) when I run into people out on trail and they ask me how I trained him to listen so well. I can’t help but say good things about this product. Plain and simple. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to train their dogs or just simply eliminate having to yell completely. Two thumbs up!
